The TN Driving Innovation Lab will be at Brentwood Academy on Saturday, March 2 as part of the 2019 VEX Robotics State Tournament. The "STEM lab on wheels" will be free and open to the public for exploration from 10:00 until 4:00.
The lab gives students the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with STEM technology. Included on the Lab:
- Carbon fiber 3D printer
- Resin 3D printer
- Laser cutter/etcher
- Tabletop CNC router
- Oculus Rift virtual reality
- Dobot Magician robot
- Baster industrial robot
- Programmed selfie station
The TN Driving Innovation Lab project is presented in affiliation with the TN Department of Economic and Community Development. The Lab's mission is to spark curiosity and inspire students to realize the specific roles that they can play in Tennessee's future.
