Thomas Gore Named Tennessean Boys Athlete of the Year

On Friday, May 31, The Tennessean held the 4th Annual Sports Awards event at the Music City Center. Nashville native, Golden Tate, was the featured speaker (in photo with Gore). Brentwood Academy had best-of nominees in several categories, including: Thomas Gore, boys athlete of the year and boys track; Marcus Fitzgerald, boys basketball; Randy Brady, boys basketball; Samuel Tiblier, boys swimming; Devyn Curtis, football; and Matthew Porter, boys cross country. Thomas Gore '19 brought home the prestigious award for best boys athlete of the year. As a senior, Thomas was part of the championship football and track teams, as well as winning the individual heavy weight wrestling championship.
