Immediately following the girls' victory, the Brentwood Academy boys' basketball team executed a dramatic come-from-behind effort to win the Div. II-AA state championship against Memphis Christian Brothers by the score of 58-55.  After being in a 17-point deficit in the third quarter, which dropped to 10 points at the beginning of the fourth, the Eagles' athleticism and determination put them 5 points ahead with a minute remaining. After a round of time-outs, Christian Brothers was able to sink another two points before time ran out.  Jeremiah Oatsvall was named tournament MVP.  He was joined by Cam Johnson and Darius Garland on the All-Tournament team. The boys are coached by head coach Hubie Smith and assistants Andy Bradshaw, Adam Smith, and Winston Garland.    Read more here.
