Intellectual Growth Begins
With Knowing Truth
At Brentwood Academy we believe that solid intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth begins with knowing Truth. That is why we have remained steadfast to our mission since the school’s founding in 1969.
BA’s roots are in a traditional, college preparatory curriculum, yet teachers and coaches strive to meet students where they are—regardless of their learning style or background—and to challenge them to stretch beyond their perceived limits.
We believe there is no such thing as a value-neutral education and that all truth is God’s truth. An education of the highest value is incomplete without recognizing God’s authority and the eternal perspective it brings to a solid foundation for each student. We are committed to nurture and challenge each whole person—body, mind, and spirit—to the glory of God.
To Know and Be Known
The heart of our commitment to help young people grow is our faculty. Deep-thinking teachers and coaches invest extra time and energy to nurture relationships with students.
Brentwood Academy teachers and coaches create an environment that ignites our students' passion to pursue learning, to explore personal creativity, and to consider others before themselves.
Born As A Dream
In 1969, Headmaster Emeritus Bill Brown and faithful founders started Brentwood Academy in the middle of a cow pasture on Granny White Pike.
In 2000, founder Bill Brown passed the baton of leadership to Headmaster Curt Masters who has preserved and expanded the school's mission over the past 15 years.
