Youth Leadership Brentwood is now accepting applications for the 2015-16 calendar year. High school sophomores and juniors who have demonstrated leadership skills and either live or attend a school within the Brentwood city limits are encouraged to apply.
George Patrick '16 finished 4th out of 26 of the world's qualified decathletes at the IAAF Youth World Championships in Cali, Colombia. He also set an American Youth record with 7,493 points and achieved 7 personal records.
BA Athletics Presents "Role of Parents in Athletics," a free seminar led by Proactive Coaching consultant Rob Miller. The seminar is for parents with children of all ages and will be held July 29 at 6:30 PM in the upper school gym.
George Patrick '16 was selected to Team USA after a record-breaking competition in the World Youth Trials on July 1. He will compete in the World Championships with his teammates in Cali, Colombia July 15-16.
George Patrick '16 was recently named the Boys Track Athlete of the Year by The Tennessean. He was also selected as the Gatorade State Boys' Track Athlete of the Year, following former BA track athletes Ben Davies '08 and Andrew Bumbalough '05. George is automatically nominated for Gatorade National Male Track Athlete of the Year, which will be announced soon.

BA alumnus Brennon Mobley '11 honored Dr. John Gonas, a Belmont University professor and BA dad, who inspired Brennon after they met while Brennon was a student at BA. Gonas mentored Mobley during his years at Belmont and helped him create a non-profit business that has provided work for incarcerated men in locations across the country.
